If you have messed with the feed line connection on your VE, you probably know how much of a pain it is. The factory line stays out of the way of your throttle linkage, which is great, BUT the line makes loosening the pump to case nuts to adjust timing way more cumbersome than it should be. Another big disadvantage is the factory M12 to JIC union at the pump's inlet, it is a big restriction point and flows 22% less than our upgraded banjos. The factory line also has a union behind the pump that has an o ring in it that is notorious for leaking after all these years. The factory hardline will also become a clearance issue for the throttle linkage once you unlock your pumps capabilities with some Ratman pump parts. At wide open throttle your travel will become limited due to the hardline being in the way in some cases. Most of you running an HVLP still utilize that factory hardline so that would all apply to you the most!
Now... those of you running the almighty Airdog pumps! While I love the Airdogs, the feed fittings on the pump can be a bit of an issue sometimes when trying to keep them tight and placed in a position where none of your throttle linkage components will come into contact with them. This is your ticket! These banjo swivels will clear your throttle linkage by a mile (figuratively speaking). They will also quick connect right to your plastic Airdog quick connect fittings! I promise you do not have to worry about these little banjo's flowing enough. The banjo portion of these flow 100% more than the inlet of the VE itself will allow... well, if we are being specific... its 99.6% more than that inlet will allow. So, these will absolutely keep your vane pump within the VE fed so it can maintain that case pressure!
